The Stocker government (German: Bundesregierung Stocker) was sworn in as the Government of Austria on 3 March 2025. It is headed by Chancellor Christian Stocker. It is the first tripartite coalition government in Austria since 1949.
Composition
Several ministries - and their respective responsibilities - were restructured in the new coalition program compared to the previous Nehammer government. As a result, the Ministerial Law must be amended to formally establish the new ministries and their functions. Until this adjustment takes effect, the list below reflects the previous ministerial responsibilities and includes several ministers without a designated portfolio. Once the amended Ministerial Law comes into force on 1 April 2025, the ministers will be sworn into their newly designated ministries. The ministers were sworn into their new ministries again on 2 April 2025.
